I have to agree here.  Everything I've heard so far is an excuse to *NOT
enroll in the new group.  What does it offer that is new?  Nothing.  What
integrity does it offer that MIDRANGE-L doesn't?  None.  I don't really see
the point, other than pushing Synapse products, which Jerry does enough of
here and was stated wouldn't be done on the new forum anyway.  So what's the
point?

I see no reason to further fragment the midrange community.  When I first
started on the 'Net five years ago, there weren't that many resources.  These
days, there are too many, IMO.  David's list was the first, and will always be
the best as far as I'm concerned...

Exactly.  The newsgroup posts too much volume to be useful, as far as I'm
concerned.  This list is getting unwieldy, and I cannot imagine belonging to
another.  IGNITE/400 is good for its' focus on internet issues, but another
general purpose list is out of the question within _MY_ time constraints.
