Thanks for the assistance Roger.  I'm not sure I understand though. Are you
telling me there is an FTP command you can pass to an FTP server that will
execute commands on the PC?  For example, what I'm looking for is a way to start
a PC application running, and maybe pass it parameters if it accepts them, all
from the AS/400.  This function is possible using the IBM Incoming Remote 
Command
daemon program CWBRXD.EXE.  I'm just wondering if there is any other way to do
this from the AS/400 without using that Client Access program.

FTP might be the way to do it, I just don't understand what FTP command you 
would
pass to an FTP server to accomplish this.
