Hi all For your information here is a tip if you will install 'Operation Console' (V4R3) in stead of the old CA Console. IBM used 3 months and lots of manpower to find it, so it's valuable. We are talking about local console via a cable directly from PC's COMx: to first serial card. All new servers only include this cable. Allthough the manuals mentions nothing about it both "AS400 Operations Console Connection" and COMx: on the PC must be set to 115200 bps. Have any of you out there an 'Operation Console'? I would like to hear from you: Was the installation smooth? What is the speed? Was this defaulted on beforehand? Plase send me a mail (off-list mailto:hkrebs@hkrebs.dk) about this.
