Hi,

You could use QUSLJOB which will list all *ACTIVE jobs with a specific job
name (and effectively ignore the job user/number). If you've used List APIs
then it's a simple test to see the contents (or size) of the user space.

If you have control over the jobs it may be easier for them to allocate an
object, such as a data area, and your monitoring job can test to see if this
is allocated. I normally put in a routine that just sits and waits for the
data area (this takes no resources compared to the API), and if it succeeds
then the job must have finished - so it submits another one.
