Or take Caltran from the Peninsula. Moscone Center is about a 5-10 minute
walk from the train station. The downtown San Mateo train station comes to
mind as a good choice, lots of restaurants and clubs, nearby is the Ben
Franklin hotel, a favorite with Stewardess' stopping over at SFO. Caveat,
outside of commute hours, the train runs 1/hour till @midnite.

BART (Rapid Transit) will take you as far west as Daly City and across the
Bay to Oakland, Concord and south to Fremont.
