Hi, David: >>>Greater than 19 (not 20) >>>and greater than 99. >> >>Different columns are being compared. It's cool. :^) > >Sorry, Dennis, I'm not with you. How can any valid year have a century part >greater than "19" and a year part greater than "99"? No records will pass. >Assume our comparison date is CCYY. I'll have to plead ignorant on this one. I hadn't actually folllowed the thread in its entirety because some messages were lost. What I saw, was someone looking for a way to AND a couple of sort spec lines, and I showed how that was done. Without the original post, I mistakenly thought I was doing some good. (The question I *though* I was answering, was "how do I AND two sort statements?") My apologies. -- Dennis Lovelady Simpsonville, SC mail: dennis@lovelady.com URL: http://lovelady.piedmont.net ICQ: 5734860 -- The only really good place to buy lumber is at a store where the lumber has already been cut and attached together in the form of furniture, finished, and put inside boxes. - Dave Barry, "The Taming of the Screw" +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
