How do you intend to receive mail? If you're using a POP mailbox hosted by your ISP then you'll need a POP client that can pull and redistribute mail. If you've requested the ISP to forward mail to your 400 server (and you have a dial up connection) you'll need some mechanism (ETRN or TURN) to request the ISP to start the forwarding. I read your earlier mail too quickly. If you're using LINK400.COM (a defined Internet address) as your domain name on your 400 then it should be possible to get your ISP to recognize and accept your sub-domain names. > -----Original Message----- > From: Art Tostaine, Jr. [SMTP:art@link400.com] > Sent: Tuesday, February 02, 1999 12:44 PM > To: midrange-l@midrange.com > Subject: RE: SMTP problems > > I was able to get this to work by doing a CHGTCPDMN HOSTNAME(LINK400) > DMNNAME(COM).
