Which only adds to the problems of backing up your system-- be it an AS/400
or the PC on your desk.  We've switched to DLT tape, and have reduced our
backup time and number of tapes to about half a dozen to handle a largish
model 640.

Now, on the PC side, there are the same huge drives with a 1.44 Meg
diskette drive as the only means of backing them up.  *sigh*  That's a good
argument for 2 drives and mirroring on -every- desktop-- at least the only
data loss problems will be caused by user malfunction!  (:
