Don, this isn't quite clear to me. The data in both instances resides on the AS/400? In fact is the same data? You have an interactive SQL product that interctively reads a record at a time, is that right? (btw, is SQL a product or is it a technique?) Access is just reading and displaying records in arrival order? In other words, is one method chunking blocks and the other processing random records?
