You could create your own version of QCMDEXC and put it above QSYS in your
system library list. It would log the command any way you want to then call
QSYS/QCMDEXC to execute the command.

Obviously, you need to be very careful with this approach. A better way
would be to use a different name (something like LOGCMD) and change the
calling program, if possible.
