Thanks Neil.  This works great.  It's funny I haven't had a problem with
this before.

And yes Chuck, it is the full system save that runs interactively from the
console.  I have the window available so I back up my 15GB EVERY night which
only takes 1.5 hours for SAVSYS, SAVLIB *NONSYS, SAVDLO and SAV.
