Don - you're right - but the people that start this sort of argument put
us on the defensive, and defend we must.  It IS only a computer system,
and there are many different uses for that computer system.  Comparing
the systems within the same league is more important then saying Windows
NT, Unix or Joes computer can beat the pants off of whatever.
The important part of this is the AS/400 people are too busy to start
that sort of argument, and the Unix and Windows NT people seem to have
more time and anger towards it.
The argument seems more religious in nature then logic.  Try arguing
Palm Pilot's verses Windows CE sometime, and you'll see the same
response.
