Denis, Assuming you mean RPGIV, it is not possible at this time. Even if you could, you still need to be able to retrieve the attributes of what was passed. At this point operational descriptors are not supported for all data types in RPGIV. To me this is the number one area where RPGIV is lacking functionality. To do this you can pass a pointer, but you still have to retrieve the attributes to do anything meaningful with the data. To retrieve the attributes, you need to know what type you are working with. You can store the attributes externally in a file or something, write multiple procedures, or use different code for different types.
