Carl,

We sold the idea under the same rational.  My time is your dime.  You can spend
it on me driving in or dialing in.

I do try to meet with each client in 3D at least once every two weeks.  When I
first started working remotely about 8 years ago, I was dubbed the "Phantom" and
realized their psychological need to see my smiling face.  Maybe they thought I
had really moved to the Bahamas with a ghost writer doing the actual work.

Although the 3D time does become a marketing opportunity, IMO it's because you
are there to see and hear of situations where you can provide a solution.
Listening to lunch room scuttlebutt or lunching with the owner to hear about
their industry trends still has value.
