Really!? I've got the "Try Before You Buy" and have been through the tutorial on both Code400 and VARPG. Honestly, I am (was) interested mostly in Code400 and not VARPG, I just did the tutorial for the heck of it. Do I do something special or weird to get VARPG to handle this type of file?
