that's the hard part.

the 3r2 for the as/400:

1. gives you some tools to work with to help with your applications. (via date
fields, but you need to use rpg IV)
2. is Y2K compliant.  for example, you want it to say that a file created in
december 1999 has expired!

but you have to do the work to make the applications complaint yourself.
