Programmatically it is defined the same way too.  I use recursion, although
rarely, in some applications.  For instance printing out an indented bill of
materials where the processing has to run through a "splay tree" type of
structure.  I also use it on our Local HTML based newsgroups to dipslay
messages and indent responses.  They are all subprocedures, though.

I find it kind of strange when the definition for something like recursion
is different, or thought of as such, in the "as/400 world" than the
definition for the same in in the "non-as/400 world".
