Create a DS that contains two overlapping subfields - one is a zoned
numeric 15 long no decimals, the other is a character 15 long. (these
could be longer depending on your max number size). You Z-ADD your
packed number to the zoned field then substring the character field out
to your array. If you're using DSPFFD to get the field definition then
you'll find two length values for numeric fields, one is the actual
length and one is the byte count, use (16-actual) to get the start
position for the substring.
