Have you've done a CHGJOB and changed this to log messages and all cl commands
and tried again? Then after the error looked at the joblog?

Subject: RPG Compile Error!!

Hi All,

I am facing a RPG compile error and am not able to determine the cause. We have
a CL program that runs in batch. This pgm compiles a ILE RPG program in QTEMP
library. Then it calls the ILE pgm. When I found that the ILE RPG pgm is not
executing, I did some study. I ran the CL interactively. The CL is failing at
the CRTBNDRPG. My command is as follows :

     CRTBNDRPG PGM(QTEMP/&FILE) SRCFILE(&DALIB/&SRCFL) +
                  DFTACTGRP(*NO) ACTGRP(*NEW) +
                  BNDDIR(Y2KTOOLS/DATEBNDDIR) DBGVIEW(*ALL) +
                  OUTPUT(*NONE) OPTIMIZE(*BASIC) INDENT('| ') FIXNBR(*ZONED)
TGTRLS(*CURRENT)

MONMSG MSGID(RNS9310) EXEC(GOTO CMDLBL(END))

I am encountering RNS9310 message and the pgm is ending. I am getting the
message "Starting Scan source for Member
xxxxx'. And after this the compile is failing. I am not even getting any spool
file to see what is the error. I tried to look for
RNS9310 but I could not locate this message in any of the message files. I am
struck. Can anyone help me. Thanx in advance for
any suggestions.

Venu
