CRTPTHPGM on v430 - tgtrls -- MIDRANGE-L

We were unpleasantly surprised to find that we cannot
compile a pthread program from our 420 box back to 
410. The TGTRLS option is not there.  IBM says that 
410 was not thread safe and pthreads are not supported
on it anyway, so they did not put a TGTRLS option in
420.  

NOW, are we going to be able to compile 430 threaded 
pograms back to 420?  Anyone know?
