Hi, It has been about six months since I did this, But the secret as I remember is to modify the Axis configuration. First get the unit and a PC on a common Lan Segment, (or Routed). Then use ARP to assign an IP address to the unit, (With Win/95 you must prime the ARP table with a ping to a known address). Then use FTP the "config" file from the unit to your PC. Now check the section "---TCP/IP Menu " you need to setup the necessary ADDR/Route/Mask for the IP connection, and you need to assign PORT address's to the "RTEL_PRn" ports to match the PORT address you want to use off the AS/400 in the CRT command. (Check your services file) but I used 7101/7102/7103 for PR1/PR2/PR3 in this application. Now check the rest of the configuration files to match your requirments. After it is configed FTP to back to the unit, check the manual as there is a unique keywork on the PUT command to get it to install. Now you should be able to CRT your Lan device and print to the unit.
