Bruce: All, I agree with your comment about basing all times from GMT and using the offset. For daylight savings, all you need to do is change the offset. That way journals, logs, etc will always have the correct time. I would be easy to set up a system value to note the number of hours from GMT and make all jobs default to that time, and/or use a field on the user profile to indicate the time zone the user logs in from. Better yet give me the offset on the workstation entry, and I can tie it to the location of the workstation. Gee... This sounds like a requirement that could be entered at COMMON (providing we can 1) find the terminals 2) log on, and 3)I go to SF COMMON) Any takers?
