Let me suggest you look at the following IBM manuals, all can be found
on their web site.

        Quick Beginnings GC41-5433
This is a simple path to getting your web server up and running.

        Webmaster's Guide GC41-5434
Gets into details needed to manage your server.

        Web Programming Guide GC41-5435
Talks to CGI and other issues.

Cool Title About the AS/400 and Internet SG24-4815
Covers a lot of TCP/ip and network topics.

As for a good way to get DB/400 data to your web pages look into
Net.Data from IBM. Does all the CGI work for you.
