Hi Alejandro a great way to do this is to either put a front end 150 or 170
into your site running V430 and IBM's HTTP Server. You can then keep this
small machine at a very high level of PTF and OS/400, as well as tightening
the security on it, although you do say intranet. Then take a look at IBM's
Net.Data we have a lot of samples at the IGNITe/400 site
http://www.ignite400.org for connectivity to databases on local or remote
400's or other platforms such as Oracle Sybase. Both the HTTP server and
Net.Data are built into OS/400 under several releases but the HTTP server is
at its best under V430.

You could always run the website on the same machine as the database but
this raises a lot of issues, and I imagine you are on an older OS/400
release? Prior to V430 then you should look at the server from INET
(http://www.inetmi.com) as the webserver, although things are close between
IBM and INET under V430.

Thanks

http://www.ignite400.org/ do I really need Netfinity when I have an AS/400?
