Not within the O/S itself. However IBM sells a product called Advanced Function Print Utilities. This product lets you create a quasi printer file on the screen including embedding and formatting data fields from a physical file. It also lets you specify record selection criteria for the printing of these records. This product is somewhat expensive though(we paid $5000 US for a P20 machine).
