Record locking.

In order for the "DSPF has PF names" to operate, you need to

DOW
CHAIN
EXFMT
UPDAT
ENDDO

If the workstation operator leaves her desk for lunch with that record on 
the screen, that record is locked for an hour.

If you rename the DSPF fields, there is no need to lock the record:

DOW
CHAIN (no lock)
MOVE DB to DSPF
EXFMT
CHAIN (lock)
MOVE DSPF to DB
UPDAT
ENDDO
