Cancel the request. Since my FTP server is listening on a different port
other than the default, we were putting a colon : between the IP address and
the port, it was looking for a space.
Thanks in advance to all that tried to help.

Subject: MS Proxy settings

|This is a bit of a stretch, however I was wondering if anyone has any
|experience with MS Proxy Server. A customer of one of my clients is trying
|to send some files via FTP to my clients FTP server addressable via the
|internet. However I am not sure how to tell them how to FTP through their
|Proxy Server.
|
|We are running WinProxy as our proxy server and if we wish to FTP from our
|internal network to an FTP server on the Internet we do the following:
|1. FTP to our proxy server
|2. When it asks for the user, I enter: myuserid@the internet FTP IP
address
|3. The PS sees this formatted user and passes my FTP request to the
|Internet FTP server
|4. Then the Internet FTP server asks for the password and then I am
|connected to the FTP server on the Internet through my Proxy Server.
|
|I am looking for the similar functionality in MS Proxy Server. Can anyone
|help? We can take the discussion off line.
|Thanks and regards,
