This is a bit of a stretch, however I was wondering if anyone has any experience with MS Proxy Server. A customer of one of my clients is trying to send some files via FTP to my clients FTP server addressable via the internet. However I am not sure how to tell them how to FTP through their Proxy Server. We are running WinProxy as our proxy server and if we wish to FTP from our internal network to an FTP server on the Internet we do the following: 1. FTP to our proxy server 2. When it asks for the user, I enter: myuserid@the internet FTP IP address 3. The PS sees this formatted user and passes my FTP request to the Internet FTP server 4. Then the Internet FTP server asks for the password and then I am connected to the FTP server on the Internet through my Proxy Server. I am looking for the similar functionality in MS Proxy Server. Can anyone help? We can take the discussion off line.
