We use ADSM on the /400 and it does work. But...
1) AS/400 version of ADSM lags WAY behind all other ADSM server platforms
2) Support line for ADSM usually cannot spell, let alone support AS/400
specific needs
3) Support within the software for SQL server is limited unless you purchase
the SQL connect agent which adds another 1k to the price.
4) Support to go to different hardware in the event of a restore is chancey at
best without their DR product (even more bucks!)
