Call in ILERPG response time slow -- MIDRANGE-L

You haven't said how the programs were compiled which makes it very hard to
diagnose the potential problem.  The fact that the call is faster from the
command line is very odd.  My first guess would be that you compiled the
programs with an activation group of *NEW (the default (sadly) for CRTPGM)
and that accounts for the slow response, however the command line piece
seems to contradict that notion.
