        /home has no one to one conterpart in OS/400. The closet I can 
think of is you crtlb rob, and then crtusr rob, and then make the user 
rob the only one at the user level who uses the library rob, and have the 
initial CLP set rob as the default current lib, and first in the top of 
any library list.  

        Speaking from AIX, the /home is always built off the root 
directory "aka the leading /" and as part of the create user profile mkusr
the "HOME directory" and "Initial Program" is specified for the user. 

        Will will find a "profile" and initialization type files, mail 
files, and other controls here.  

        "/ect" is a whole different concept, more like QGPL.  :-) and the 
direcory "/tmp" is most like the library QTEMP, but unlike QTEMP you need 
to use a system scheduled job to clean it up.
