I am working on a Y2K project for a client of mine. The portion of the project that I am working on is the VALIDATION portion. The requirement for this project is that I must produce a validation document for each application that 1.) Validates the vendor's statement that their software is Y2K compliant and 2) The software complies with the clients definition of Y2K compliance as set forth in their Y2K compliance documentation. This validation document must contain test scripts which show (keystroke by keystroke) what was done to validate the application. I must produce one of these validation documents for OS/400 V4R3M0. My question is this. Does anyone have or know where I can get (internet?) a test script (or something similar) that I can use as a basis for my OS/400 validation document? I have surfed all the Y2K web sites that I could find and have not found anything like this. Anything that you have that will save me from doing this from scratch would be appreciated.
