Ira, Good point. I always tend to answer queries such as this by pointing to the base system enablers found in OS/400. Quite often companies such as yours provide an offering which insulates the end developer from having to work directly with system/network/whatever internals, and instead work on advancing their companies productive use of the system in meeting end user requirements.
