I'm trying to audit the use of some objects on the system (for those of you security geeks - JOBD's that reference a specific user id that has special authorities and *PUBLIC has use to). I have the sysval QAUDLVL set to *AUDLVL, *OBJAUD, *NOQTEMP. I am changing the object auditing to *ALL and leaving the user obj. auditing to *NONE. According to the security reference this combination of object and user levels should audit changes and use. Problem is that I am not getting use. In this scenario, if I change the JOBD I get a journal entry (ZC) but if I used it (ie: via SBMJOB) I don't get a journal entry (ZR). I do not want to modify the object auditing for users. Any thoughts?
