  • Subject: Restoring SAVF from RISC to CISC... Darned slow!

We recently upgraded our developement machine from a CISC (V3R2) to RISC
(V4R2). We have been noticing that it seems to be taking a lot longer
to restore save files onto our CISC based production machines. We use
RSF from Bugbusters, but have also tried just FTPing save files and
restoring them on our production machines, and they all seem to be
really slow (or slower than before).

We are compiling everything to V3R2M0. Version for sending is also
V3R2M0.

Any ideas?
