I read a review recently that indicated the IBM product as having
the best integration features for Windows. Most of the products
seemed to shine in specific apps, like MS Word or Excel, but the
IBM product was noted to be SIGNIFICANTLY more flexible and robust
as a general purpose interface (ie. more difficult to set up and
train). I've not heard of using voice w/ CA.
I'll look around for the article.

One would think that IBM's Via Voice would have the edge here but it doesn't loo
like it. At least not yet. However, it might be worth looking at the newer relea
s of both Dragon and Via Voice. I haven't
heard of anything else in the running, tho.

Because of the problems that I am having with my hands, I am seriously
playing with voice recognition software at the moment.
A co-op who worked for me a few years is not employed at DEC (now COMPAQ),
and he got me in touch with the head engineer in voice recognition, and she
indicated to me that Dragon Naturally Speaking has the best technology.
I'm keep you posted.
