 but saw they haven't figured it out yet.
You could try and use an IP Port scanning program.  That will scan the
ports of an IP address and let you know if
it has anything running on a specific port.

I am trying to use CRTDEVPRT with an axis 560 printer server (2 par, 1
ser ports).  What I can't figure out is how to specify which port of the
printer server to use.
Axis's web site describes how to connect one of their SNA servers to a
400 but nothing on CRTDEVPRT.
