Well...here is a vendor response....

We provide a tool called TestBench400 that will allow you to extract a
subset of your production data and then perform tests on it using both batch
and interactive programs. It can provide full analysis of data effects and
also allow you to do a data file comparison (whereby you can compare the
actual data results against your expected data results).

As for analyzing executed code, we have a product called Analyzer that can
tell you what code a test or series of tests executed. It identifies
specifically which lines were executed, and equally important, which lines
were left unexecuted by your test cases. It also count the number of times
each statement was executed.

If you wish, check our Web Site, http://www.aldon.com , and look under
IntelliTest in the product area.

Feel free to email me with any further questions.

Subject: Path Analysis tool?

Hello,
I am looking for a programming tool for RPG or COBOL on the AS400, that
will provide Path Analysis. This would be just a tool that would
produce a printout of the data a program read, along with a summary of
the program code lines that were encountered while processing the data.
Sorta like a trace, but more sophisticated.
Any suggestions?
