Phani, We have one printer that is configured from three different AS/400s. All we did was setup the remote output queue the exact same way on each system. The printer doesn't care where the LPR/LPD requests come from, it will print them. The AS/400s don't care what else addresses the printer, they will still send. I don't think that you need to pass the spool file from system B to system A to print, unless there is a specific reason (System B is not on the network, for example). If that is the case, then setup a dummy user profile on system A that has the output queue as the remote output queue. Then use SNDNETSPLF to send the spool file via SNADS from system B to the dummy user profile on system A. I think this will then send the print to that user's output queue which should actually send it to the printer. I have again created a remote queue with the parameter RMTSYS(*PASTHR) on SYS-B. (Help says that the remote printer queue specified, will be used on the system from where the passthrough was done). this is not working. the spool files are going to HLD state. Somebody please help me to make this work Regards, Phani +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
