Use the RTVMSG command. You send in your message data with this command and
the variables will be filled in on both the first and second level message text.

Subject: Want to plugin some data into retreived msg using message
subfile .

Hi all,

Can any one of you help me out????????.

Problem...

I am using a CL to retreive the messages from a message file and filling
the message subfile from a COBOL/400 program. I want to edit the
retreived message. Basically I want to plug in some variable data into
the retreived message.

Hope I will get an answer

Bye
Nagendra
