You may recall that I had requested something like a PFILE keyword on the F-SPEC. FDETAIL IF DISK FDETAIL2 UF K DISK PFILE(LIB/DETAIL) LIB should be optional - default to *LIBL I might use this in the case where I have to update 50-100 records out of 100,000 read in. This allows the system to maximize through-put on the input only file.
