I have to agree with Hans that IBM should spend its money adding things to the compiler that I can't do for myself. One such feature (which is requested over and over when I teach dynamic memory usage) is the ability to set the top of an array or MODS. Even when you don't use dynamic memory this is useful as both SORTA and LOOKUP assume that the array is "full" which it rarely is. It would be much nicer to be able to simply use %Elem to set the active number of elements.
