The command will allow you to pass any value which can legitimately be passed as a 7 digit number (like -1 or -2) You need to map *CURRENT or *TODAY to a value such as this which is a real number, but which your CPP can interpret as requiring special processing, by using the SPCVAL keyword for the parameter.
