Yes, create a printer file like so:

     CRTPRTF   YOURLIB/SPLPRINT CTLCHAR(*FCFC)

     CPYF     your restored spool file to SPLPRINT

Subject:  Restoring a saved spool file .




I have a spool file that I saved with CPYSPLF using *FCFC  .
 Now I want recreate the spooled file. When I do a  CPYF  to *PRINT
 the file has row numbers. Is there a way to restore these files as  the
original spool file.
