We wrote a program that does a RCVMSG from a user message queue and monitors for CPI8050. This a never ending program until it receives a message called "STOP". We send all file transfers to the same user profile. We then extract the file, member, and number from the "receive completed" message (CPI8050). We then read a DB file that has the job to submit, when this file is received, to process. We use this on all of our AS400s receiving data from AS400s, mainframe, and RS6000s.
