I have tried this on v3r2, v3r7 thru v4r2. I I can't vouch for "as designed", but it's working the way it always has in regard to the password. I assume the same is true for the user profile, although I have never tried that. If the first character of the password is a digit, the system prepends a 'Q'. If it isn't, it doesn't. Following that logic, '3XCORP' and 'Q3XCORP' are logically identical.
