Tim, Excerpts from mail: 11-Sep-98 V4R2 sockets losing data Tim McCarthy@mindspring. (971*) > Anyone come across any problems with sockets and Anynet on V4R2? This sounds suspiciously like a problem > reported with V3R7 and Anynet which IBM issued a PTF for and that they say > they rolled into V4R2. They want evidence of the problem rather than just taking my word on it :-(. First I heard of this potential problem.... We tried to duplicate this problem on a v4r2 system here this afternoon and were unable to do so. We will need your help to trace its occurrence. We need a comm trace, a vlic trace of the sockets and the TCP components - all taken at the tie of the problem. It might be good to see a code snippet of your sockets source where the problem is ocurring too. If you can provide that info thru level 2, it would be appreciated. Thanks!
