Anyone come across any problems with sockets and Anynet on V4R2? I have a
problem with buffered data being discarded on a socket close. If I hold the
socket open with a few second delay, the data gets through, but if I send a
group of records and then close, I lose part of the transfer. I've run this
same program on V3R2 and V3R7 with no problems. It almost looks as if the
SO_LINGER default is now ON. This sounds suspiciously like a problem
reported with V3R7 and Anynet which IBM issued a PTF for and that they say
they rolled into V4R2. They want evidence of the problem rather than just
taking my word on it :-(.
