To all: I finally figured it out. For those who don't know this: WIN95 automatically names any newly created folder as "New Folder". The space between the two words is invalid on the AS/400 and AS/400 folders are limited to 8 characters. To create a folder on Drive I, you must either create it from an AS/400 session or create it in DOS with the "MD" command. A DOS example: I:\MD TEST >creates a directory called "TEST"< Hope this helps. I don't know why this didn't occur to me before.
