Marco,

  While have not personally done this I know that 1) 5294 is not
supported, nor will it work. 2) 5394 with RPQ (Request for Price
Quotation) will work. (This is as I understand it is just updated
software for the 5394) 3) 5494 work with current software level.

  As I understand it this is for connecting the 5394/5494 to the serial
port on the far router but having the AS/400 see them as a LAN
controller. (No serial cable from the AS/400 to the near side router,
just the LAN connection)
